Job responsibilities mainly include:
- Performs sample size/power calculations for clinical studies
- Provides statistical input in the context of protocol development
- Develops Statistical Analysis Plans
- Performs statistical programming and statistical analyses in clinical trial data implementing the appropriate statistical methods
- Participates in sponsor meetings and interacts with other departments, such as data management, clinical, and scientific affairs
The ideal candidates should fulfil the following qualifications/requirements:
- Master’s degree in statistics/biostatistics or related field
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in the Pharmaceutical, CRO or related Healthcare Industry
- Strong working knowledge of SAS software (SAS Base/SAS Stat/SAS Macro)
- Familiarity with ICH Guidelines and relevant requirements for Statistics
- Familiarity with the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) standards will be considered an asset
- Computer literacy with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with third party groups
- Strong problem solving and time management skills with the ability to consistently work in fast paced environment
