Currently we are looking for a Medical Writer, with experience in the development of medical and other scientific documents to join our team!
Primary Responsibilities / Requirements /Main Tasks:
- Write and review high quality clinical, medical, regulatory and pharmacovigilance documents such as DSURs, RMPs, Study Protocols, ICFs, CRFs CSRs, IBs, as well as Abstracts, Posters, Manuscripts, and other Publications
- Extracting data from statistical analysis reports and presenting it in a readable and understandable format within the clinical trial report
- Perform literature searches and reviews as necessary to obtain background information for the development of medical and other scientific documents
- Preparing communication material, presentations, reports, and articles for a variety of audiences (e.g., healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical sales teams, and patients)
- Developing, reviewing, and approving promotional materials and package inserts for products available in the market
- Prepare training materials according to the needs of the audience
- Being proactive in tracking projects and chasing comments from clients and authors as well as determining timelines
- Working closely with clients (often acting as the sole point of contact within the company), physicians and investigators
- Communicate complex medical information in a succinct way
Education / Competencies & Skills:
Bachelors or Masters degree in any life science (biological sciences, medicine, biochemistry or related sciences is required. Professional experience, knowledge and understanding of disease pathology and medical terminology will add to the strength of the application.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience as a medical writer
- Thorough understanding of the drug development process with excellent knowledge of ICH-GCP
- A passion for medical communications research and education
- Comprehensive writing skills with good command over written and spoken English
- Multi-tasking ability
- Knowledge of basic word and data processing software’s like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as effectively in teams and capacity to coordinate with a variety of people
- A strong work ethic and a solution-focused ‘can do’ attitude combined with intellectual curiosity and creativity
