Business Unit Manager, Menarini Hellas

Menarini Hellas, an international pharmaceutical company, introduces RELIFE, an ambitious and innovative operational entity that aims at promoting a complete portfolio in the Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine fields.
Within this new business operation, we are seeking to recruit a Business Unit Manager.

The candidate will be responsible for the operations of the Business Unit as well as for the crossfunctional collaboration with other company divisions involved in the operational activities of RELIFE portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

  • Incorporates policies and procedures of the company in Business Unit (BU) operations.
  • Assures a patients-centered operational strategy and science-based approach in all BU functions.
  • Monitors and reviews company’s planned activities for RELIFE portfolio, ensuring that they are brought to completion within scheduled period of time and budget.
  • Provides effective management across all BU activities that have to do with its strategic and financial growth.
  • Builds effective relationship with key stakeholders involved in the RELIFE portfolio operations.
  • Performs efficient financial management.
  • Creates harmonious working environment, and motivates all team members to perform efficiently.
  • Substantial engagement on the training and mentoring process with the subordinates of his/her responsibility.
  • Sets up the Business Unit’s strategic framework for the promotional activities of RELIFE portfolio.
  • Analyzes and explores market trends; identifies new opportunities in the assigned therapeutic field.
  • Structures a solid and productive cross-functional collaboration framework with other company functions involved in RELIFE operations.


Skills and Qualifications (desired)

  • University Degree in Business Administration or any other related field. A MSc./MBA will be considered a plus.
  • Fluency in English / Fully computer literate.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience within a similar position, preferably within a multinational pharmaceutical company.
  • Strong knowledge of Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine market (essential business insight on key drivers of the market, competitors’ analysis).
  • Creative thinking – He/She should possess the ability to oversee the creation/development of competitive marketing plans, propose new ideas, implement systems and build relationships with targeted accounts for the solid structure of the assigned portfolio.
  • Analytical skills - He/She should be able to analyze in detail critical business elements and proceed to the synthesis of a clear strategic roadmap for the development of RELIFE portfolio.
  • Decision making skills – He/She should have the ability to analyze information, evaluate the necessary parameters in order to proceed to proceed with accurate and documented business decisions.
  • Ability to encourage and build team spirit among staff, bringing about mutual respect and cooperation.
  • Pleasant and confident personality, along with managerial and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities and exploit them to the benefit of the portfolio of responsibility.
