Health Data Specialists (HeaDS), an Athens, Greece based CRO with a European reach, is seeking a Clinical Project Manager for its international Clinical Trials operations.

The Clinical Project Manager role will be involved in multi-center global interventional Clinical Trials across multiple Therapeutic Areas with key focus on Oncology/Hematology.

Job Description:

  • Ensure that work is conducted in accordance to the contractual obligations and project timelines and in compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Organize and provide leadership to a cross-functional team in the execution of the operational aspects of a project.
  • Proactively manage project level operational aspects of the Clinical Trial Team including management of trial timelines and resources.
  • Create project management reports, plans and tools.
  • Work proactively with the Clinical Trial Team to set priorities in accordance with applicable project plans, company Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs), ICH/GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess the operational feasibility of studies and recommend risk mitigation plans.
  • Perform co-joint monitoring visits as needed.
  • Review and approve site visit reports; ensure tracking, follow up and resolution of site issues has been completed in a timely manner.
  • Management of the study budget(s).
  • Assist in the training and development of the Clinical Trial Team.
  • Manage clinical trial supplies (including IMP and auxiliary products).
  • Oversee performance of third party vendors.
  • Provide input into project proposals and RFPs.

Job Requirements:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a healthcare related field).
  • Previous work experience:
  1. Minimum 2 years’ experience as Clinical Project Manager.
  2. Minimum 5 years’ experience with clinical trial conduct
  3. Experience in managing or coordinating international multi-center trials is highly desired.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Project Management Software.
  • Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects, timelines and responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A genuine interest in the field of clinical development.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Initiative taking and team working attitude.
  • Willingness to travel approx. 20% of the time, including domestic and international travel.
